OH MY GOD! It was amazing how great Melissa Etheridge and the band was. They get better every time they are in concert. I had a GREAT,WONDERFUL time at the concert, thoroughly enjoyed myself was a once in a lifetime experience. She played old music, new music, she talked all about her life and was just really great. I took my 77 year young mother to her first Melissa Etheridge concert tonight and she loved her, thought Phillip was just wonderful on the guitar, which he was, but i really didn't expect my mom to notice and enjoy it. Melissa and her band NEVER disappoint, they just keep coming back stronger, better and just ROCK!!! Can''t wait for the next concert!!!!!!

I added my comments to the set list. Melissa was definitely tired from the prior night. It didn't show when she was singing but you could tell between songs she wasn't as pumped as opening night . Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining. The concert was still fabulous.

We were in Clearwater and Orlando. I thought she looked more relaxed in Orlando, but my gf thought she seemed a little more nervous the second night than the first. Either way she was AMAZING..the whole experience was unreal. OMG..when she knelt down right beside us..I didn't even realize I had stopped breathing til she stood up again. Thank you so much Melissa. Seeing you is such a visceral thing..the sight, the sound, the emotion of it all..beyond anything I would even begin trying to post or explain to anyone that isn't in that place. I have to get to work and so couldn't trek to Boca, but will soooo be there in Jax.

as i understand it (as i wasn't at either show) is that the band enters to the instrumental music of All There Is. they did this in Hawaii, too.

FYI, The Awakening = The Universe Listened / Imagine That / What Happens Tomorrow. check out your Awakening CD booklet and you'll see what i mean.

Hi all. Going to the DC concert next Wednesday and really hoping she will play What happens tomorrow. :D I have only been to one other concert in 2006 and she really rocked. Taking my staid New England husband to this one and have told him that no matter what he does or doesn't do I will be standing up and singing along for 3 hours.

Wow cant believe she didnt do POMH...figured that would be a steady at every show from now on but you know Melissa is varying every show. Should be a surprise for fans when other songs pop up. I guess she will keep us guessing! :D

Not to say I'm an expert or anything of the sort... but you need not worry... she will sing "What Happens Tomorrow". ;)

Have a wonderful time!!!

The concert was amazing - she was great, the whole band was great! She is funny, truthful and so injoyable to watch. She has so much fun with her crowd! I wish I had lots of money so I could go to every concert of hers. I could watch her forever! Sher really is a beautiful person inside and out! :D

Orlando was GREAT! My gf had only seen the Awakening Concert in Hollywood FL and she had high expectations. THEY WERE MET BABY! I was 7th row center (CC) and everyone looked and sounded great. Bob Carr is not known for good acoutics so i was happy to be close. She played for over 2.5 hours!
My next stop is St. Louis with my Sister. We are driving in from Tulsa just to see her again!

I think the "Awakening" trio will be sung at all shows. Re Late Sept Dogs, you should make a sign and hold it up...she always has those spots in her shows where she will mix it up and said she sometimes does requests so if you make a sign...you never know! It's worth a try. :D

My wife and I were invited to the concert and are we glad we were. The show was fantastic, from begining to the end. Not being a huge Melissa fan I wasn't sure what to expect. I was blown away!!!!!! I was a mainstream Melissa engoyer of a few songs that were hits a few years back. Not much more than that. I love music of all kinds, my 5 year old daughter asked if we were going to a jazz concert. Because anything other than Hannah Montana is jazz in her mind. This concert was rock at its finest!!!! I am shamed to say that I never really ever listened to the words to any of Melissa's songs until this concert. The lyrics are so powerful and exciting, it's like finding your most prize wanting on Christmas morning. I have to warn future venue goers, come expecting to be over powered. MELISSAAAAAAA--- you have captured a new fan. Thank you for a wonderful time and many profound life lessons!

Glad you enjoyed it Jamie. These are the reviews that I love to read most...from relatively new fans, fans won over by the performance-power that is Melissa! :)

I totally agree DRG. Jamie that is awesome. Everyone thank you for your reviews. I get some sort of jolt about hearing folks that go to their first show and their reaction ... it never ceases to amaze me that each say Melissa blew them away. 8-)
