Cool...thanks for posting the setlist.
I couldn't make the show this time around. I did see her in November when she did 'The Awakening" in Hollywood. That was truly awesome.
I look forward to reading more about tonight's show.

Hi, The show was great But I must say, I wish the fans if you must smoke the funny stuff do not do it up against the stage. I am sure Phillip would agree. Last night we had several wiffs of a very pungent odor that well frankly smelt like skunk. We shared a good laugh about it. anyway ...MLE did in fact do a shout out about her second show in FLA, WOODY's .(first one was in Key West 5 months earlier) ..Yes I was there! She claimed ther were 10 people at that show...I remember close to 50 but hey it was in 89....I took some great photos then....I have shared them in the past I will link to them later. "Mamma has a cold folks" but she sounds and looks great! Boy was it hot last night! Dodged the rain!!! She did "The Different" ...made the night for me!!!.....Thank you Phillip for the Pick..... You are trully the reincarnation of Jimi and SRV...you totally rock! Mark nice facial hair...hmmm sexy!! Fritz....Man can you bang those skins......and Thanks for wondering what was on my arm...Yep it said Woody's !!!!

Anyway....Great show as always...as for the playlist She doesnt do the "all ther is...or it is a recording ..we just dont here it....And the Encore was the later... Peace medley....

Last night's show was truly incredible... I 'lost' myself in the music, the lyrics, the message, the night....... i have seen Melissa a few times, but last night was the BEST ever!! I have seen a lot of shows, i am a music freak!!, and I can not think of a single show that comes close to last night. Well, wait, there is a wonderful funky man, Brian Stoltz, from New Orleans who rocks my world, but no one has the passion that comes with being Melissa!!

I want to point out something that bothered me; A pair of grown women, who did not belong in my row were trying to get up to the stage. They walked in and out, in and out, in and out of my row, MULTIPLE TIMES. They bumped into me (and others), they knocked over my water bottle - repeatedly - and shouting to their friends by SCREAMING in my ear. I would have liked to have been up front, close and personal with Melissa. I would have loved for her to use my cell phone. I would have loved to have shook her hand. But out of respect for Melissa, for the other people at the show, for the hard working security, MOST of us DO behave. I have been to many many shows, and the behavior by these 2 women was inexcusable! It was childish, it was obnoxious and it interfered with my ability to watch the show. by the way, security did NOT let them in and the boss man was about to toss them... like Melissa said, you get what you give.... i did see security eject a girl!! i can't imagine getting out of control at a M.E. show!

On the flip side, there was a really sweet man who stood in front of me and while Melissa talked about her cancer and chemo then began to sing I run for Life, it really effected me and this sweet person reached out to me. people are truly amazing and loving....

I will always treasure last night and I am grateful to Melissa for doing what she does!!!!

I LOVE the fact that she paired "Unusual Kiss" with "Threesome".....classic Melissa, with a sly smile, I'm sure!!! Can't wait for Chicago.....

Great performance, great song set. Loved hearing her old songs and stories from her life. This was my 13th time seeing her and my first time on the front row. Awsome! I agree that there were a few rude fans, but that's not unusual for South Florida.

in exactly one week I will be at DAR Constition Hall to spend an evening with MLE and her music. Can hardly wait. Have only been to one other concert, in 2006, and i have never been to a better one than that by anyone. Most that I have been to have front band and an intermission. Never anything like blood sweat and tears for 3 hours. So looking forward to this. do not have front row seniority, but we will be close. and she will rock us.

i was at all 3 shows....

clearwater...nice venue...morons for security guards! the crowd is a bit odd for MLE show as they all want to sit politely in their seats...my seats were 5th row on fritz's side of stage...did get some pretty good pictures tho...the set list was awesome...the acoustics fantastic! think the only people standing were 2 (who i happened to know) on the other side of the venue several rows back from me, about 8 of us on my row, 2 women on the front row...and those who chose to stand in the aisle...as i said...strange crowd...but very polite and well behaved...

orlando...nice venue...even nicer security as they let us all at the stage which is where i saw the show from! seats were "technically" 4th row...set list was fantastic...acoustics were great...her performance was once again outstanding...i'm totally digging all the chatter between the songs...and the fact that she's mixing it up from show to show...polite people in attendance here...

now...on to boca...ok venue...although it was extremely hot and muggy outside...this venue is "hometown" for me...have to say that it attracts some of the worst fans i've ever encountered (short of the dallas texas show in 2006)...rude...disrespectful...obnoxious...extremely intoxicated...loud...seats were 2nd row center stage...security let first 2 rows rush stage...got center stage directly in front of mike...nice people behind me...until the drunk girl with the broken arm started trying to get to the stage...pushing and shoving and banging everyone around me with her cast...several nearby threatened to break her other arm for her if she continued...and unfortunately, someone i know was stupid enough to toss water on stage during Bring Me Some Water...we told her what a jerk she was being (she was drunk) and that it was a hazard on the stage..so she took her tshirt off and wiped it up...then managed to spill a full alcoholic drink across the stage diving for MLE's empty water bottle...again she wiped it up (this time without having to have anyone say anything)...she finally calmed down after that...at the end of the set, MLE is shaking hands, etc...so many were "clawing" their way to get to touch her...that i was pressed up against the stage...didn't even bother to raise my hand cuz the girl with the cast was back and above my head...MLE reached down, grabbed my hand, pulled me up to standing position and actually asked if i was ok! now that is a classy lady!!! my opinion, get as drunk as you want after the show! but have some respect for others and monitor your behavior....bad reflection on south florida!

as for the set list at the boca show, it totally rocked!!!!! again she mixed it up from the previous 2 shows...the band is phenomenal....they just keep getting better each time! i can't say enough great things about the shows i've seen so far...

and i have 5 more shows I'll get to see....can't wait for lowell

oh...and to whomever posted the comment in the other review thread about MLE's message....i totally "get" her message...every time i listen to her music....my personal opinion...and that is all it is...can't speak for anyone else...is that a review is just that...it's a description of what took place...what songs were played...what transpired while the show was going on...whether it is a blow by blow description of what was said or a general overview ...either way it is a review...doesn't mean that the person doesn't "get" the message.... just means that is what they chose to write for others to read....again...it's just my opinion....just as your post was your opinion...i mean no harm or disrespect to you or others in stating this...(just as a disclaimer here)...

I have seen ME about a half a dozen times in the past 10 years. I am so excited to hear that she is playing more obscure songs compared to the "hits." I love it that she is giving us something different. From the set lists I have seen so far, this seems like the fans tour. The stop in NH can't come soon enough. Give me "The Weakness in Me" or "The Letting Go" over the hits any day of the week is fine with me.

Less than a week before we see her concert. I am so psyched about it as I was the last time I went in 2006. Sure hope I don't run into crazy ladies doing crazy things. I am about the music she gives us and the person she really shares with us. What a wonderful woman with so much talent. Susan B

Public Apology: I am so terribly sorry for offending my stage mate to my left with the woodies tatooed on her arm. I should have never had three blunts of cyrptonite at a concert. My deepest apologies to anyone that was offended. (I am the girl in the baseball hat that was next to you). NOT, man was that a good buzz and I hope all enjoyed. I however am glad you had a good laugh about it and I am also quite happy that I didnt get thrown in jail too.
Man was it an awesome show as always and being surrounded by my friends who I love, to share the experience makes it the best it could ever be. I love you Melissa for all you have given me thru your music and all you have taught the world about speaking the truth and being who you are. My life, and this world in my opinion, would not be the same without you and your music.
To all my dear friends, I love you all and thanks for sharing an incredible evening with me as always. I feel truely blessed to have all of you and to those who werent there you were still there with me in my head and spirit.

Just two more days til we see Melissa and the band at DC. I am bursting with excitement and my husband is going to have to listen to her cds all the way up. To familiarize him more with the music. Don't have a lot of seniority so not sure where will be sitting...just in the first twelve rows somewhere. Susan
