I am a poor substitute for RAIN, but here is a set list and review.

All American Girl
No Souvenirs
I Need To Wake Up
Chrome Plated Heart
Yes I Am (with harmonica)
The Weakness In Me on piano
Meet Me In The Back (extended sing a long ...plenty of Eh's!)
Come To My Window
Your LIttle Secret
Cover - Try A Little Tenderness on piano (Otis Redding)
I Run For Life
I Want To Come Over
I'm The Only One
Bring Me Some Water

Encore
Piece of My Heart

Melissa was in fine form last night, she looked great. Very playful with the audience. Angie and I started the most pathetic stage rush ever. After the cover, we made our way to the aisle and no one followed. So, we were standing in the aisle by ourselves uncdecided about what to do looking like complete idiots. I looked at security, and he shrugged his shoulders. Finally security told us to sit back down, and as we went back to our seats, the stage rush started so we went out the other way and made it to the stage finally. Overall, a great show, great venue, but the audience could have been a bit better.

ok photo of the world's worst most pathetic stagerush in history. Look how bored and unimpressed everybody looks, at our attempt to go for gold even poor Frank. You can see how red and embarassed we both are, have you ever seen a bigger pair of phucking idiots. :winner:

I don't stand out much with my nuclear blonde hair, English accent and Motorhead T-shirt and poor Giant looks like she is about to crawl under the chairs and hide. Yeehaw rock n roll Mississippi style.

Ok....LMAO...,I gotta admit. You know how sometime you will type LOL and not really be laughing all that much? Well, that picture us THE most hysterical thing I have ever seen!!! I have laughed so hard that I have tears down my face. The "Hmmm...Oh damn...hmmm" look on your faces is priceless. I am going to keep in mind at the Norman show that when I see Laverne and Shirley attempting a stagerush, to go all out and try to help....maybe. lol The reason it is so funny to me is because I have been that person before and I know the feeling. I want that picture on my bathroom mirror, just so I can have a good smile every morning. Love it!!!! Thanks for posting!!! :) :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :thumbs up: :thumbs up: :rose: :rose:

LOL Giant.....that crowd DOES look a bit sedated for some reason. Maybe that wasn't the best show to perform your stagerush on. lol Hope the crowd got more into it than that. I have officially decided I want to be a part of the stagerush squad in Norman. At best, I will be eye to eye with my hero MLE.....at worst, I'll be the mockery of my new MLE community. Hey...it's all good. lol :) Love you guys!!!!

   James glad you liked it, Laverne and Shirley love it more like the Golden Girls.

That has to be one of my concert all time highlights, even apologising to everybody as we sat back down, maybe Brits and Texans are just too well mannered, or maybe we are just too stupid :clapping:

OMG....Just when I think it can't get any more hysterical, Angie says..."We even apologized to people as we sat back down." AAAAHHHHH LMAO LMAO That's so sad!! lol I'm dying over here. That is SOO Freaking funny. Basically you guys were a side show for those who didn't know the song MLE was singing at the time. lol Great stuff! "Sorry...pardon me...excuse me..." lol I'd do anything to be able to put that pic on a shirt and wear it to the OK show. lol I'm not that savvy tho. GIANT....I CAN NOT WAIT to meet you!!!!! I'm thrilled about this show because not only do I get to see MLE for the FIRST time....I get to see this show with other peeps that love her as much as myself....and I get to meet you guys. I'm memorizing your faces from this pic and making sure I know you when I see you. I'll be the short manfan with the blue MLE shirt on trying to avoid a panic attack. :) And, angie...that golden girls reference was hysterical. You guys are soooooooooooooo fun!!!! :)

Or that will be my confused face on a pic that everyone is grinning about. lol You guys are so funny. Thank you for this today....nothing beats waking up and having a smile put on your face!

James...absolutely, we need to meet up before the show. We're doing the package, so not sure what the plans are for that, but we will be around the hotel all day. There is a good group going to the OK shows, so you will be in good hands. You are a sweetheart, can't wait to meet you either. Let's exchange numbers via PM as it gets closer so we can meet up. Stick with us, you'll be fine. :D

This is going to be a real treat for me and you guys will get to experience my FIRST show with me. It's gonna be great. I was unable to do the package. lol But, I live maybe 15 minutes (if that) from the venue MLE will be performing at. So, I am available anytime that day to meet up. It's perfect really. And I will PM you with my digits lol. Thanks so much Giant....this will be more than just a concert. I'm so glad I found this forum. This is gonna be great. ((((((((((James)))))))))) you seem like such a fun guy and we are all really looking forward to meeting you, we do need more testosterone to get those stage rushes going.

OK I went back and looked at the picture again and I am telling you it must be the blonde hair, I never used to be this dumb when I was a brunette, back in the YLS, Breakdown, Live and Alone part one days, when I had black hair I would never have acted so densely, I would have been at that stage quicker than Carl Lewis, the peroxide has slowed me down somewhat ;) dumb and dumber rule.

My brother and I are going to Binghamton and we are are experienced in the art of Stage Rushing. My trick is that I can jump pretty fast over seats if I have to. As long as security isn't too strict we should be able to get right up close and rock out in front of the stage.

Lora is it too late to submit this photo for the calendar?????

It would make a great April photo, fit right in with April Fool's Day. Just a thought ;)

I was at the Biloxi show as well. I wish I would have paid more attention for you guys because I always read the forum just to see how the concerts have been going leading up to the one we are scheduled to go to. I'll tell you, y'all crack me up sometimes. Would have liked to get to meet you in person, but I am sure we will have plenty of time in the future for that.

I agree with what you said about the crowd, my friend and I came to rock and enjoy the show, but when everyone sat down, we did too because we didn't want to risk getting asked to leave. We were in the 4th row to the left. I was the one wearing the black Love Is Never Wrong t-shirt with a red t-shirt underneath with the sleeves rolled up. I gave out bumper stickers to people here and there before the show and I had made a special one for Melissa on a magnet and had attached a special note to it. She read it and said she would get it later, but she never took it from my hand, so at the end of the show I tossed it as far to the back of the stage as I could and if she got she did and if she didn't, oh well, I had a great time anyway.

About the stage rush, I had noticed that security had moved back behind the metal gate and was surprised that no one came up at that point. As soon as I noticed what was going on though I got my butt up there and was against the stage for the rest of the concert. Was fun because at the end I got several high fives from Melissa.

It was truly an enjoyful evening. The only thing that kinda put a damper on my fun was the disgruntled gentleman who was sitting across the way in section A row 5. He sat with his arms folded across his chest the whole concert. At one point I had stepped into the aisle to get a better picture of Melissa and before I could even snap the pic, he tapped me on my shoulder and asked me to sit down so he could see. When the rest of us rushed the stage my friend (she didn't rush the stage) said he complained about not being able to see the whole time. She offered to let him come sit in my seat so he could see better and he ranted and raved about how he paid whatever amount for his seat and he was going to sit in it. He really didn't belong there and I don't really know what he came anyway.

I mentioned pictures. I did get some great ones. I was trying not to use my flash on the camera, thought there was enough light coming from stage, but the pics just didn't turn out, so ended up using it anyway. You can view them and download them by going to http://www.myspace.com/flchic114.

I had a great time, the Hard Rock is awesome, we stayed the night and thoroughly enoyed ourselves. :clapping: I can't wait for the new albumn.

Thanks for always sharing and allowing me to share as well. I look forward to reading more of your posts. Next time, I will pay more attention and may get to meet some of you.

I need to take a pic of it an put it with the other pics, but this is what it said.

Melissa Etheridge

Changing the World One Song at a Time

Be Strong – Speak Truth – Love Yourself

It also has the outline of the world in the background. If anybody wants the file let me know, it is in a word document. You can get the magnet sheets for an inkject printer at Office Depot and just cut them in half (after printing of course). One package does 10 stickers. Because it is inkjet, you want to get a can of clear spray paint and spray over it so the colors don't run. The other route is to get the paper bumper sticker (also sold at Office Depot). The pages are already perforated and easy to separate.

Have fun!
