It was rockin of course.

I think Melissa cold was a little worse...could hear it in her voice .She even commented saying well it's all good it's rock n roll............I do believe Clearwater was 10x better however. .......

She played for 2hr and 45 minutes.......She was so funny, forgot the lyrics to I Want To Be in Love, but ad lib....She said well I got so many songs and words in my head......


Florida Threatre such a small venue, the seats were awful, no leg space....The crowd weird once again they want everyone o sit down in there seats...geez how can you sit while she is rocking.....Crowd down front finally got into it........near the end i snuck up to the front...got to the stage..got to shake her hand(hope Idont catch the cold Melissa ) if i do it was worth it..

I dont know how She does it for so many hours, She did look tired by the end.....then off to Atlanta tonight.....

Overall I really enjoyed it, mainly listening to Melissa talk and sing all of our favorites.

I'd have to agree with anglekisses. Her assessment is right on. I could only pick up on Melissa's cold once during the concert. I've only missed Boca so far. She seemed really pumped up for Clearwater, a little tired for Orlando and hitting her stride in Jacksonville. The high point of the concert was her and Philip playing together. It's obvious Philip has no clue what she's going to do. In Clearwater she jammed with him, each taking turns playing an adlibbed lead. Orlando she took over his guitar from behind of him while he continued to hold the guitar with his right hand and play with left. In Jacksonville they did both.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think her set list contains space for 6 to 8 songs that are going to change every concert. My guess is she's going to play every song she's recorded during this tour. Here are the songs from the first 4 concerts that haven't repeated. It's no wonder she was having trouble remembering a few lyrics.

Gee I am so excited re DC concert. Sorry she has a cold. When I went two years ago she was near the end of the tour and this year we are 10th on her schedule. I really want her to do What happens tomorrow. Also would love Late September Dogs, but she almost never plays that.

It is now only a few days away. Warning my buttoned up spouse that he needs to be ready for rocking.

I have been a ME fan forever. I have every album, CD, etc.
I went to her concert two years ago in Jax at the Time Union theatre and it was great. However, this last concert in June kinda sucked I thought and I may not go to another one of her concerts...
Here is why: altho it had been two years since her last concert and she changed the name of the tour IT WAS THE EXACT SAME DIALOGUE AND THE SAME TIRED RAGS HANGING BEHIND HER HEAD...Come on ME! In all my 40 years of going to concerts I have never heard an artist say the exact same stuff in between songs...exactly...I felt ripped off also because she forgot the words to two songs...and she asked the audience for the words! We could not hear half of the dialogue up in the balcony seats either...but that was okay because we had heard it all before. I was sooo disappointed. The sond was awful.Tickets are not cheap. Are you ripping off us Jacksonville hicks or what? I realize you had a cold, you could hear it, maybe you should have cancelled, I would rather have my money back. Just because we are gay does not mean we are blindly devoted to you and we have to be silent...there were many of us that went to the concert two years ago who were very bummed out with this performance. So I decided to speak up as a devoted fan...

Well I totally disagree with you..I was at both jax concerts...So what if She forgot some lyrics...She is human...You never forget anything? I think it made her just like the rest of us.....

It was not the same backdrop/stage setup...........

Sorry your experience was not up to your expectations, but She rocked the house as usual...Giving it all She had, even though she was not probably feeling her best.

And far as Her dialogue, i thought it was great trying to connect with the fans on a personnel level...Some singer perform and never speak to the audience.....It's gonna be similiar because her life hasn't changed.
