melissa was fabulous tonight....the extended versions of some of her older songs were amazing.

No Where to Go blew me away.

the lighting on some of her songs, especially when she was at the piano singing WIM, made her look angelic. :innocent:

security sent the stage rushers back to there seats

at least 3 times before they were allowed to stay there.

melissa was again melissa all night long :winner:

was great seeing some old time fans before the show started....

Awesome awesome show!! Great to see so many fans having a blast. As was said security wasn't cool at all but they didn't bother any one taking photos and videos and with that said some is to come shortly

Nice to see a few fans there I haven't met before....big shout out to Endie and also Skoko who I didn't get to meet but will in AC. Some other friends from SI and several buddies who are always great to see!! We'll be together again in AC.
Great to see you K and T and others I talked to before the show and after!

Thanks Linda for your kindness as always in arranging a seat and our merry go round seat exchange fun which eventually panned out well. Thanks IAM for helping out our friends who did get to the stage along with you and so many others eventually. I stayed put in the 3rd row till the end of the show so all worked out real well. Quaint theater and lots of great songs. Amazing stage presence highlighted by some old songs and a great cover. I know we shall all see the action on youtube so and hear much more!!

Onward to the next show!!

All I can say is WOW! I couldn't believe she did Jersey Girl! That is my FAVORITE cover of Bruce's and to hear Melissa sing it was just unbelievable! I also loved hearing Nowhere To Go. And for some reason - Chrome Plated Heart was just HOT last night.

We had such a great time after the show as well! OK, I think I need to store up some sleep. Haven't had much lately...LOL.

Have a good ride up to MA all!

loved the story of spending some time between shows in upstate ny in NYC and getting more used to going w/ the flow there...cause if you don't go with the flow....you get trampled( very NY ZEN ).... and how in her world everyone is happy and friendly cause everyone smiles at her and hugs her and wants to take her home..ya gotta love the 5 yrs now cancer free lovin life and being loved melissa...like she pretty much said..find what you love and live passionately and just enjoy it all..it's all good...
(not "exact" quotes here"...my hard drive doesn't always work perfectly either( little rainbow circle spinning around)...but the SPIRIT of the night was just pure FUN!!
...agreed girllllllllllll...that's the way it was all meant to be

Yes Melissa was in rare form last night. Smilin' and having fun! Somehow got a last minute ticket in a musical chairs kinda way - thanks to all involved in that - and ended up in the front row. I was getting tired of security not letting us stand during the show - when will they learn that you stand at a Melissa Etheridge concert???

Also sending out a huge THANK YOU to Steven, who, after watching us all rush the stage 3 times and being sent back to our seats 3 times, waved off security so that we finally could be at our girls feet!!!

You rock Steven!!

So had lots of fun before, during and after the show hanging with everyone. Have a good time in MA everyone

This was an amazing show. I had so much fun making my way from the balcony to the front of the stage. So good to meet you Nybabe!! No where to go was amazing....Secret Agent rocked...I would not have guessed she would do that "Live and Alone"...but she rocked it....HARD!! What a great night! Can't wait til Friday....Hoping for some "meet me in the back"!!!

Melissa was awesome as usual. :winner:

My only complaint was the security guards. Uhm, hello? This is a *rock* concert. We should be able to have a grand ole time and standing is part of it! Argh. How frustrating. :-x

Well, I made stage rush and initially stood behind Karen. A special thanks to Frank (who's waaay taller than me) for inviting me to be in front of him against the stage. :biggrin:

Anyway, it was great to see everyone (you know who you are).

Cheers to my friend Kris for staying up passed her bedtime to attend the concert.

Already counting down to Friday ... Getting a head start and will be on my way late tonight. 4-day weekend and it involves more Melissa! Life is good.

Tracy....need some advice

when we finally were allowed to get to the stage...after 3 attempts....and must be funny for MLE to watch us run up to the stage at speeds quicker that lightening, but then when security sends us back to the stage, we creep along slower than a turtle. LOL.

well when we did get back to the stage, I was right up against the stage...a much shorter fan who I do not know was behind me, so I offered her to switch places as I could see right over her. so at the end of the show, she hops on the stage as she was after the set list, which she got, and she also grabbed MLEe towel that was at the mic....she hops back down turns around and hands me MLEs towel.

So what does one do with such an item?

...well honestly I wouldn't want it and actually had hold of her water bottle uncapped and held it up and asked....does anyone want Melissa water bottle? Another fan said send it to Camille, so I gave it to her to do just that!

Exceptional! Amazing! Awesome Show!!! WOW!!! … Melissa gave her all. The set list was every concertgoer’s dream. I must say the crowd was awesome as well. Personally, I love when people stand and rock during the ROCK concert. The energy last night was just perfect. It felt like divine intervention. I was very happy to be there and experience what was happening.

Dawn, the photographs are out of this world. Thank you all for posting great links, although I did not see all of them.

Nybabe I am looking forward to finally meeting you in AC. Thanks for posting LIKE THE WAY I DO! Devine!

I believe she was talking about the crowd(when she first did this song long ago) and how it seems she was being booed but everyone was just saying Bruceeeee!!

Really great pictures. Has anyone checked out the seating chart for her New Hampshire show? I don't like the idea of long tables in rows. So not Melissa's style. I really hope she has it changed before the show :biggrin:

The seating won't be changed before the show. That is the set up of the venue. If you bought M.E.I.N. tickets, you will be sitting next to the person you bring, not across the table from them.

no worries... I was blessed enough to be given the chance to come up and visit family for the Labor Day Weekend.

I am going back to The Sunny Humid Place tomorrow. I just canNOT get over the difference in the weather... Frankly, I don't remember September being this NICE in NJ... Someone up there was REALLY giving me a break lol... and maybe all of the Jersey folks and NY folks after your last few weeks of tough weather...

So, everyone wins!

On the other hand, in about 6 days, I WILL be seeing My Man...
