Wild show!

YCSWID was by request (someone held up a painted shirt asking for the song). You could see ME tell the band to NOT go on to the next song. They looked so confused! For me, that song was a highlight of the evening.

ME came out into the audience and walked along the front row during one song (forgot which, I was too excited). THAT was very cool.

It was an excellent show. Not her best, but truly excellent.

as MLE said last night, she could only walk along the front row early on in the show because if she did it near the end of the show, she'd probably end up in the moat!

I'm not quite sure what it was for me. The set list was only so-so (for me) compared to some of the other sets posted. I was really hoping NOT to have LTIWD for a finale. For example, after seeing so many tours end with LTWID, I was hoping for Piece of My Heart. I also thought the sound quality was horrible. Often, ME's voice was drowned out by the band due to bad mixing in the booth. (Of course, not her fault.)

The band seemed scattered to me. There just seemed to be a lack of focus. And, Melissa seemed disconnected from a lot of the songs as compared to other shows I've seen her do.

Finally, the venue and crowd annoyed me a bit. I was down in row BB. Security was really lacking when folks pushed their way to the front early on. And. there was a fight during LTIWD that was ridiculous. It took away a lot for me. This crowd should more sophisticated than to get into brawls.

I know I'm nit-picking. I love Melissa, and will continue to go see every tour. But, this was just not the best in my mind.

When they opened the gates, event staff was all 'ok, we have to check your coolers'...then they gave up and just started waving people through.

Ya know, when that big-voiced gal came out, I thought she was the opening act! Then she went on about no pictures or filming or recording. How long did THAT last?

I thought I saw a hubbub down in front during the finale (and yes, I wouldve loved to have seen 'piece of my heart' live. When I saw her sing that at the Grammys, I was bawling like a baby LOL). Was it a drunken brawl? We had some inebriated revelers behind the brown fence.

I've read where MLE said she doesn't play a lot of the older standards because she 'isnt that person anymore'. I'm all for growing, but damn, those old songs were powerful glue that bound her fans to her and vice-versa.

Hi everyone. I enjoyed the concert. This was the 5th time I have seen her. I thought she was great. The only downfall was the darn moat. Couldn't really get close to her. I didn't even know there was a fight, by that time I had made my way to the front row. I started out in row 4 center stage! I was pretty excited to see her so close up. All the other concerts I have been pretty far back. I thought it was awesome when she called someone on the cell phone. I would have died if I was on the other end talking to her. I am not sure who was sitting as I read somewhere on here but anytime I looked around everyone was standing. I know I didn't sit the whole concert. How could you? She just makes you want to get up and dance. It rained slightly before the show started and poured on the way home. During the whole concert the rain held off. It was a perfect night.

Next up is Poughkeepsie NY!

Melissa does not have opening bands as she plays for close to three hours herself. I believe she generally is on the stage right on time.

Perhaps she was preoccupied with Miller being sick and Tammy and the kids not being with her. Maybe, it was just one of those nights.

Fans pay a lot of money for her performances (myself included) but it has to be very difficult to be or at least appear to be connected to so many songs from different points in her life. Maybe telling her story/changing the set list so frequently is a bigger challenge than anticipated.

I'm really looking forward to the Reading, PA performance in two weeks. I think I would be totally stoked if she only sang the alphabet repeatedly and Philip just stood on the stage. I suppose I'm a bit of a "cheap date."

Talk about freaking timing. I just got off the phone with her after talking to her on the way to work this afternoon. Not sure where shes been (not on board)and she didnt know that I talked to MLE in CT..she was laughing and hadnt seen the video but will tonite so naturally I was excited about telling her all that happened. Shell see it later as shes just getting home.......hmmm explain about saying what 150 times Maybe Pen knows about this but not me ...anyway I expect her to comment later about it. IM still reeling when I tell this story and showed someone at work the video as its not youtube or it would have been blocked ...this weekend I make my sign but I also know if Im not close enough she wont see it but maybe if one of the lucky ones hold up a sign that says..oh shes 15 rows back it will be funny...god forbid! Lets hope for a bit better than that(was there in 2006 and each nite was one row back ...come on Melissa....give Lea with an A a better seat than that!.....then I wont say you are so short!

FYI...I have called ahead and spoken to "MY PEOPLE" and Lea with an A will have a special entrance to the show at Wamu...."MY PEOPLE" have arranged for Lea with and A to enter from the back of the venue where they have DOUBLE DOORS (to get her head in)

oh my my my..IAM....dont start now ...youve done a good thing here and people might begin to chatter Who would have thought you could do such a kind and wonderful thing....what were you not yourself that day Only kidding dear and let me tell you something (to all those nonbelievers) IAM is truly a very kind and giving person and im not saying that just because of what she did in CT. Ive known it all along...yea we banter back and forth with words on threads here and there but thats just to keep you all on your toes and make it interesting...oh well yea I let the cat out of the bag but I just wanted to make it clear we do kid around a lot and you may think what you will but just remember people dont really know people on this board unless youve associated with them to some degree.....to say they are your friends just because you interact with them online and have no close contact doesnt really tell you what they are about. Keep that in mind....IAM....well Marie....from Lea with an A....she needs no recognition for what she did and it wasnt done to be patted on the back either. Like I said this was not planned at all and I was surprised as the next gal this even went down. Thanks again and to the video gal The sign is in the making!!

IAM you appear a bit blurry and we cant see your banner...no doubt from the after mass of blowing by security as you gave Melissa your cell phone I do see your better half in the other shot hangin between a few boardies..we all know now why you arent in the photo. Let us see this banner ....that you had the great opportunity to show Melissa...timing is everything isnt it??!!

Hi everyone - ME rocked. I didn't sit down for a second, singing and dancing and having a great time. This time I brought my husband with me - He loved the show. It was the first time for him to see ME and about the 5th or 6th time for me.

We had 11th row dead center. I loved her choice of songs, especially when she did "The Different" - she hardly does that song in concert and it was a big surprise to hear her sing that song. Her songs from the Awakening were awesome as well. The whole ME experience is just fantastic. I wanted to hear "similar features" which I saw was on another song list - but oh well. That song brought back good memories for me (bi-woman).

Not going to NYC to see her this time, but look forward to seeing her on her next tour.

I had tickets for her last tour when she had to cancel due to illness. I was crushed. She looks great!!! ME - stay happy and healthy - yours fans love you.
