We're in S. Yarmouth waiting for the show tonight. The venue says the parking lot only opens an hour prior to the show. Is anybody meeting someplace in Hyannis this afternoon? I just can't stand waiting here... I'm so excited!
We'll be driving the bright blue FJ Crusier! :wheee!" :group hug:

Revival in Hyannis!!!!!!

Fitting that it was in a Tent!

Perhaps the Best Melissa show we have ever seen. The band was on fire as usual, but the crowd was THE BEST!

It was clear MLE & the boys felt every bit of energy and were feeding off it.

Those people know how to throw a party, it was a loud, standing dancing, clapping, singing love fest.

We were saying on the way back to the hotel "We'll never NOT go see Melissa in Hyannis" I'm serious!!!!

Can't wait for tomorrow!

Hyannis was the best venue! Really there is not a bad seat in the house. We were in the 5th row and the stage was so close. The best energy in the crowd and it was definately appreciated by Melissa and the band. We'll definately return to see her anytime she plays at the Cape Cod Melody Tent!!!

I've been going to shows for 19 years and this one was definitely up there with one of the best! She was amazing and everyone had a fantastic time. The stage rotates so there's not a bad seat in the house; didn't hurt that I was in the front row! She pulled a bug out of her hair and threw it at me - one of the funniest things that has ever happened to me in a concert. Can't wait until tonight!

We saw that (during I Loved you Before)!!! We were directly accross from you behind the soundboard. (Be the Change Shirt?) That was Hilarious, Melissa actually stopped in mid song, and pulled a beetle or something out of her hair and flicked it into the seats.... She DID apologize which was even funnier, but the best part is that neither of you would squish it! That was great!

Kel: thank you so much! It was really fun to re-live that! And tonight Melissa retold the story and called me bug girl twice! Tonight's concert was equally as wonderful. Incredible energy again and nobody wanted it to end!

We went to both shows and there aren't enough words to describe how Awesome it is to see Melissa in the tent. Like I said earlier, we will never NOT go to Hyannis for Melissa shows, that's how it's done. Audience sang Piece of my Heart in unison, aided only by Fritz's beat. Rock and Roll Heaven lies 90 minutes south of Proviodence RI.

Next year we wnat to sit next to Kamsgirl, (she got a stick from Fritz too). Should have saved that bug and had Melissa autograph it!

WOW. Really, for someone who always has something to say, I am at a loss.

I have seen Melissa 6 or so times. This show was mindboggling. Really.. if you were there, what sort of adjectives even come close to describing it?

All I can say is I was lucky enough to see her 2 shows there, and come hell or high water I will be at every other show they do there!

The band- Tight and playful. Working with the energy from the crowd. Gracious and giving. It was a community effort to make a magical night for all who attended. Melissa- funny, warm, friendly, and oh so sincere. The whole show, with the positive love and energy felt like being in church. Now, not like when you were little and had to sit through some BS. My soul was rejoicing. Singing, dancing, sharing the love that was flowing through out the whole tent. Seriously, it was beyond description.

I am seeing her in Lowell in a couple of weeks, and even going to CT to see her. It was just that good, kinda like a lays potato chip.. you can't have just one!

Melissa has written an album that embraces the very soul of humanity, and she and the band so freely give it away. It was the most fun I have had at one of her shows ever.

Thank you to the whole band. :D it was AMAZING!!!!

We were at both shows, too! Melissa and the band outdo themselves every time. They just get better and better. The shows were incredible! And the energy in the tent was amazing. We also want to see her at the Melody Tent whenever she's there. Her encore on the 2nd was beyond belief.....the entire tent singing "Peice of My Heart" so loud!! It was totally amazing. I've never been to a concert where the audience sang so loudly!! And I've been to a lot of Melissa's concerts! Can't wait for Northampton!
