So tired I missed this thread for my review and mistakenly started one so here it is again.
Ok, I am convinced no concert or live performance (except for future Melissa concerts) will ever be able to measure up to the two concerts I just experienced in Lowell, Massachusetts!!!!! The bar has been set too high. Both concerts were spectacular, but the second night ROCKED THE HOUSE DOWN!!!!! I had sooooo much fun and the MEIN Travel Package ROCKED!!!!! Meeting Melissa in person was surreal. I was so nervous!!!I felt like one of those cartoon characters that when nervous starts sweating buckets, LOLOLOL! I have a bad feeling that my picture with Melissa reflects a very nervous me!! Melissa was so calm, cool, and collected. She just walked into the room unannounced like a long lost friend. She's very very genuine. We got to write a message we would like sent from the Universe on the Tibetan Prayer Flags hanging at the back of the stage. That was way cool; I wrote "Fun!". The set lists from both nights were great, but I discovered that during the concert I really didn't care what she played! However, "All The Way To Heaven" was especially beautiful. My 16 yr old daughter was with me and she had a mind-blowing experience....SHE GOT PHILIP'S PIC BOTH NIGHTS!!!!!!! She was so overwhelmed by the experience the first night that she cried all the way back to the hotel on the bus which was at least a 45min ride. The second
night EVEN I WAS SHOCKED to see Philip make a bee-line for her with yet a second pic!! Thank you Philip!! I had my own dream realized the second night also. My dream was to experience a Melissa concert with my elbows on the stage with NOBODY in front of me...AND IT HAPPENED!!!! I was at the stage right in front of Melissa and Philip with my elbows resting on the stage! I could never ask for more. The Universe has truly listened. To watch Melissa play, talk, and share her wisdom for 3hrs from such an UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL vantage point was truly life altering. I will never be the same. Now I am back home in rural Virginia. I have these strangely large and painful bruises on my elbows and arms and the palms of my hands are bruised. I don't remember banging them on the stage. Did I really rock that hard?!?! I guess so, but it was SOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!!! Kathleen (and Amanda).
P.S. While I was in Boston, my other 14yr old daughter downloaded 110 tunes from LimeWire and untold YouTube videos of the Jonas Brothers and now my satelite high-speed internet service says I have violated the "Fair Access Policy" and has restricted me to dial-up speed!!!!!! I cannot even watch the YouTube videos available from my OWN concert for the next 3-4 weeks, wahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
